Being self-confident means that you trust yourself. You accept any challenge that may create an obstacle in your way because all you see is your dream.
When a person lacks self-confidence, even a little setback can create stress and anxiety, and that person is likely to give up easily. But, achieving your dreams often requires pushing yourself beyond your limits. So if you don't trust yourself, you cannot see the expected results.
To increase your self-confidence, you need to work on your weakness. Analyse yourself and see where you lack, find ways to improve, learn the required skills, connect with like-minded people, keep your mind positive and never see yourself as lesser than anyone else. Believe you can, and you surely will.
