The collaboration, which began in 2022, is set to reach new heights as both companies aim to “set a new benchmark for mobile imaging quality.”
Although Oppo hasn’t revealed technical specifics about the next-gen imaging system just yet, the brand expressed strong confidence in the future results. According to Pete Lau, Oppo’s Chief Product Officer, the partnership continues to be driven by a shared passion for innovation and a mutual commitment to delivering professional-grade photography experiences to users around the world.

> “Over the past four years, we have brought the truly professional, legendary camera experience of Hasselblad to Oppo's global users,” said Lau. “With the extension of our collaboration, we will push the boundaries of mobile imaging even further.”

The Oppo–Hasselblad partnership was first introduced with the Oppo Find X5 series, which featured major camera enhancements such as:

Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration

Hasselblad Portrait Mode, simulating classic Hasselblad lenses

Master Mode, inspired by the Hasselblad X2D medium format camera

XPan Mode, recreating the unique 65:24 wide aspect ratio
These innovations brought flagship-level photography features to Oppo smartphones, helping them stand out in a competitive premium market.

Now, as the partnership evolves, fans can expect even more cutting-edge camera technology and features inspired by Hasselblad’s legendary imaging heritage in future Oppo Find and Reno series flagships.
